Pastures of Plenty Farm (web site) is located in North Boulder County between Boulder and Longmont. The Friday evening gathering for family and out-of-town friends will take place at a home in East Boulder County. Both spots are within ~ 10 miles from the center of Boulder.

FLIGHTS and TRANSPORTATION
Denver International Airport (DIA) is our closest major airport. Boulder and Longmont are both located north of Denver; expect a 30 to 50 minute drive depending on where you are staying. A rental car is probably a good idea, especially if care to adventure to higher altitudes ISO aspens, hiking, scenic bliss. You might also coordinate transportation via shuttle to and from DIA then carpool to events. Public transportation in Boulder is superb...though none of it (save calling a taxi) will get you to the events.

ACCOMMODATIONS
We have not blocked hotel rooms. Here is a list of suggested places to stay in the Boulder/Longmont area. Boulder is a small-ish town but offers much in the way of restaurants, bars, hiking, shopping, coffee shops, etc.; Longmont is a quieter suburb 20 minutes NE of Boulder (where we live). Unless you know and love Longmont, you might be happier in Boulder (or Niwot: convenient, quaint, tiny, antiques, ice cream shops and a beautiful inn with 14 rooms) because there's more to do and see.
Another idea is browsing sites like VRBO.com and searching for weekend rental homes for your family or a group of friends. Sometimes you can find better deals than on hotels and invariably homier set-ups (full kitchens, yards...)
